Nationals of another jurisdiction, who have lawfully resided for seven years in the Republic, can apply for Cyprus citizenship. 

 

In the event the applicant, is a child of a Cypriot citizen, the period will be five instead of seven.

 

UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES it is a requirement to have legally resided in the Republic of Cyprus, for a continued period of twelve months, prior the date of the application.

5. Copies of newspaper advertisements, indicating the application for naturalization of the applicant;

6. Detailed table of arrivals and departures to be completed by the applicant; and

7. Two passport size photographs.
